Your cooperation with these regulations will help keep your cemetery beautiful.

NATURAL FLOWERS IN VASES

Vases must be approved cemetery-type vases.

​

POTTED OR BOXED PLANTS

Natural plants and cut flowers available throughout the spring and summer months are permitted. Sizes are not to exceed 18" x 6" and must have drainage boxes.

MONUMENT PLANTINGS

If any individuals wish to plant flowers, they are urged to plant them at the base of the of the monument or headstone, instead of placing a few flowers randomly on the entire lot. Funeral Flowers and flags are to be removed within 5 days after burial.

PATRIOTIC FLAGS

Flags may only be placed on the graves on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Veteran's Day.  They may be placed 3 days prior to the holiday and will then be removed 3 days after the holiday.

ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS AND WREATHS

Artificial flowers and wreaths are permitted year round if in keeping with the season.  Any decoration that does not conform will be removed immediately.
 

MISCELLANEOUS

Jars, bottles, ornaments or shephard's hooks are not permitted and will be removed immediately. 

 

 

 

 

EVERGREEN BLANKETS

Evergreen  blankets are not  permitted.   Any evergreen  placed on any grave or lot will be removed at the lot  owner's expense.

 

WREATHS

Artificial wreaths must be placed on stands or easels Wreaths purchased from the cemetery office include stands and easels.

 

ARTIFICIAL PLANTS

Artificial plants should be placed in containers that prevent them from being overturned in severe winter weather conditions.
 

MISCELLANEOUS DECORATION

Jars, bottles, crockery or Christmas trees are prohited. No balloons on graves!

Spring Cleanup

March 1st to March 31st

Note: All winter decorations will be removed beginning March 1st. Should you wish to keep any decorations, please remove them before March 1st.

Similarly, a fall cleanup period occurs from October 1st - October 31st, with removal of summer decorations during that period.

GRAVES

The cemetery does not permit raised graves. Any grave that is raised by a private owner will be leveled by the cemetery staff, at the owner's  expense.  New graves will be tamped and leveled in a timely manner by the cemetery. The care and maintenance of the grave marker is the "responsibility" of the individual grave site owner.  The cemetery is not responsible for maintenance or repair of the grave marker.

PLANTINGS

The planting of perennial plants is not permitted.  The planting of bushes or evergreens is not permitted.  All such plantings will be removed without notice.

 

LOT MARKING

Fencing, stripping, bricks or any other method of marking  a grave or lot is not permitted and such  materials will be removed immediately.

DAMAGED MATERIALS

All non-granite, broken and illegible memorials, curbing and corner steps will be removed and the area graded to lot level to produce unobstructed areas and sections, which can then be maintained with modern equipment.

​

PARKING

Please park on the paved roads only.  Do not drive or park on any grassy near a roadway as there may be burials there.  Areas of damaged grass are costly to repair and detract from the overall beauty of the cemetery.
 

MISCELLANEOUS

Your cooperation is requested to maintain the cemetery in a clean and neat appearing condition.  The management has provided trash containers along the roads and near the office and gatehouse buildings. Please use these containers and refrain from littering the grounds.
